Up for auction is a beautiful handmade quilt, sewn especially for you by one of our sopranos, Denise Lumarda.
This is a large quilt measuring 100" X 100" and it will easily fit a king-sized bed. It is machine-pieced in a 4" block pattern from 100% cotton, 30's and 40's reproduction fabrics in shades of green, pink, rose and white. Our grandmothers would recognize the patterns as "feed sack" fabrics from their childhoods. The quilt is made with 100% cotton batting and is also backed in 100% cotton. It is generously hand-quilted at approximately 7 stitches to the inch.
